COVID-19 Preparedness Plan

To Our Valued Partners and Customers,

We are continuing to closely monitor the evolving COVID-19 situation.  We believe it’s important to share the steps we are taking to keep our AHI team, their families, our customers and partners, and our community safe. We will continue to monitor the situation daily, and, as we do with any unusual event, we will monitor the evolving dynamics and adjust business operations and policies as needed.

First and foremost, we are taking preventive measures to keep our employees healthy and safe.  We take the health of our employees seriously. Our protocol educates and stresses personal hygiene measures, social distancing and symptom awareness.

Second, we are meeting with our AHI management and sales teams to review and discuss ways we can continue to service our customers safely and efficiently.  We will communicate any and all changes to our customers and vendors as needed.

Modification – All offices are implementing a “call in” ordering system to facilitate will call orders. Specific procedures are posted at each location. This will help us improve social distancing for our employees and customers.

Also, residential and commercial construction, along with supply chains for construction, are defined as an “essential service” and not subject to shelter at home orders at this time. We will remain open and servicing this essential service as protocol and supply chain permits.

Since 1982, AHI Supply has manufactured and distributed our products and we are confident in our ability to serve our customers as we all adapt to the challenges of COVID-19.

At this time, we do not anticipate significant delays or shortages in our supply of raw materials or finished products as a result of COVID-19. Our teams are working diligently to remain proactive and thorough in our efforts to continue servicing your needs. Should you have any questions, we encourage you to contact a member of the AHI sales or management team.

Our hearts and thoughts go out to the people who have been affected by this unprecedented event and we appreciate the healthcare workers, local communities, and governments around the world who are on the front line working to contain the virus. AHI will do our best to contribute to this effort.

Thanks for the opportunity to serve and partner with you. Rest assured, we are doing everything we can to provide a safe experience for our customers and a healthy environment for our employees.

April is National Stress Awareness Month!

April is National Stress Awareness Month! Stress happens. Sometimes it’s unavoidable, at time it’s unbearable. That’s why taking time for yourself is invaluable. A natural disaster, traumatic event or sudden loss can turn your life upside down in an instant. It’s normal to experience stress, anxiety and grief in these situations. However, it’s not healthy to keep those feelings bottled up in the weeks and months that follow.

It’s healthy to relax, renew and rejuvenate. Be sure to carve out some time to relax and take care of yourself each day—even just 10 to 15 minutes per day can improve your ability to handle life's stressors. Also, remember that exercise is an excellent stress reliever.

Everyone has different ways they like to relax and unwind.

Here are 9 tips for managing stress:

  • Read a book
  • Have a cup of tea
  • Express gratitude
  • Play some music
  • Detach from media
  • Give back
  • Meditate
  • Do yoga

While you can't avoid stress, you can minimize it by changing how you choose to respond to it. The ultimate reward for your efforts is a healthy, balanced life, with time for work, relationships, relaxation, and fun. Let’s all take a collective deep breath. We will get through these challenging times.
